    I like that one. the composition is good. Light is also very good. no hard contrasts.
    I would prefer a more blured water. Here I find it a little distracting from the bird.
    Which focal lenght did you use?

    if you use Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw, you should see the focal length in the metadata. At least if you shoot raw. I don't know if every camera adds this to jpegs.

    Welcome. I like the Cormorant. Nice composition and good exposure. I, too think that if the water were blurred more it would be better. Posting the techs will help with the critique.

    My camera has no RAW settings so all my photo's ar in JPEG's, My camera is a Sony DSC H7

    Hi Jeroen

    Do like the composition and don't mind the bg water at all. Would like to see the bird a bit lighter in the shadow areas and the head angle is marginal. Seems to be looking away a bit? Mighty fine and looking forward to many more !!!
