    Hi to all,

I took this today using my new Sigma 150mm macro lens for the first time. I'm very pleased with the results, but I'm still waiting on a off camera shoe cored so I can have more control of the light and shadows.

All comments and help are more than welcome.

Hey Aristotle, You will have a lot of fun with your new 150, its a nice sharp lens. I like the image, Good focus on the stamens, nice DOF. For me I would crop some of the bottom. Nice work.

Beautiful capture and lovely lighting and detail. I agree with Mike and the cropping suggestion. Very rich and pleasing image Aristotle.

I agree with all of the above. What a beautiful flower. It looks to me like a very fine bow that you would put on a gift, the petals are just so perfect.

    Very nice!

    Hi Aristotle,

The Sigma 150 Macro is a great lens. Enjoy it! And this is a great start. Very sharp. Love the selective focus. Yes, it could be cropped a bit on the bottom but no big deal. Very nice.
