    Default Say's Phoebe

I envy the photographers who live in exotic locales in the winter time. Here in New Mexico, the subject matter is somewhat limited, but in many ways, no less beautiful. I found this Say's Phoebe posing nicely with a distant field behind it.

Well, you didn't do too bad for New Mexico ;)

The colors of the background are very typical of your state :) Very nice pose, good head angle, catch light and perch.

Very well done. Love to see the whole feet in the flower.

Beautiful background and what a great perch. Perfect exposure and I like the pose a lot. The face is well lit and at a good angle.
    Lovely capture.

Say's Phoebes are nice, but I'd sure like to photograph some Lilac-Breasted Rollers. Luckily, I'll be returning to Costa Rica in March for a couple of weeks, where the birds are striking. Then I'll be going to South Texas in May for a week of bird photography.
