    Finally caught the Heron over at Willcox feeding.

    Canon 40D, 300 with 2Xtc, 1/400 at f10 ISO 400.

    Good colours and action, JP. I like the curves in the neck and extended wings. I would clone out the specks in the upper right BG and maybe crop a little off the top and left to focus in on the action. If this was part of a sequence it would be interesting to see one where the neck and prey are up out of the water

    Love the action and reflection. Great job on exposure as well. I think a little tighter crop might help a bit. Still fine as is.

    Wonderful timing and reflections JP and I love how the head and neck and the reflection creates a heart shape in this image. Very much like it as posted but also think a tad cropped off the top is a nice option. thanks for sharing.

    Thank you all for the comments. Tony I did do sequence but the bird turned toward me so head and food were in front of its body and did not show up well. I did get good shot of it flying away.
