    Nice low angle and light. The water drip and splash are good bonuses. I also like the bent ankle. I'd look into toning down the bright blue streak in the BG that passes behind the head.

    Lovely light, pose and colours - drip off the beak is a bonus. Agree re the blue streak

    Great comments from above. The low angle really mkes this image for me as well as the good exposure and eye contact. Removing the blue streak would strengthen this image. Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful image and light! My crooked eyes seem to think you may need about 1 degree of CW rotation on this, though ;). Sure is a nice Spoonbill, though. Did you get any decent ones from Ding on Saturday? You were right there where that really nice Tricolor was, so I'm anxious to see if you got any decent ones of him.

    Hi Bob,
    You may be right about the rotation,i did not get any real good images of the tri color at ding darling. i will have to try again next weekend.
