    Default Cape Weaver on aloe

Haven't posted for a while, but took this one on Saturday and thought I would give it a bash. Myself and Dion sat and watched these guys along with some sunbirds, bulbus, white-eyes and mousebirds as they fed of the sweet aloes. This was taken at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens, a short drive from my house.

Please give all honest crit and comments. Thanks.

*** Sorry for the edit *** but I just noticed that when I post this the coulours are alot blander and dull whereas the image I worked on in PS is bright and crisp ... any idea why? Please help so I can re-post wghat it should look like.

    Thanks
    Vic

Nice image Vic. Good details and nice warm colors. As for the color problem, maybe this is the reason?

Lovely bird and perch, I wish you had left the original to be able to compare.

    The bird's eye are incredible!

I guess there might be a difference depending on the browser you are using. Don't I remember something about Safari being able to render Adobe RGB, but IE only uses sRGB? Or did I dream that? My posts look fine to ME, and I think I always use Adobe RGB, but maybe I that's because I'm using safari....??

Meanwhile, I think the image looks great Warm colors, but not bland by any means. Beautiful.

nice shot Victor, wonder blend of hues.
Amy, safari and firefox 3 ar both capable, but many do not use a color managed browser and
will see very wrong colors.....prophoto(huge gamut) much more so than Adobe RGB
    example below:

Good shot, Victor. Agree re colour space as likely cause - sRGB version above looks accurate wrt plumage and flower colours

Very beautiful bird Victor and lovely composition. As Fab mentioned already the eye contact is awesome !!! Amazing what a difference there is in color between the two posts.
