    Sigma 70-300mm with 12mm extension tube and macro mode
    ISO 100
    F/25
    1/250 sec
    Multi High Speed Flash set up
    on tripod

    I got a little bored with photographing the standard images after a few days of that. So I got to within a foot or two and stayed very still. I got a lot of portraits, but not many with the full beak. This one is not cropped, in PS did curves, and some mild sharpening. cloned out the other flash highlights in the eye.
    My last portrait was recommended to go in "out of the box" so here I am. Comments please.

    Beautiful color and sharpness. Need more room for the beak.

    Beautiful details, I would add some canvas to the right and take some off the top for a stronger composition. Keep them coming!

    Beautiful work, Tom! I agree that a little more room on the right would be nice. You sure did get some excellent color and details!!! Wow!!!

    Hi Tom,
    I like your image. The colors are vibrant. You have sharp details and the exposure is in check. I agree with giving this little guy more breathing space on top and to the right of the frame...congrats...:cool:
