    Default Kite with fish

    Same bird as posted in the earlier thread but taken at another time. Did not manage to get the diving action but got this shot just after he got his fish. Not quite sure if the crop here works or would more canvas be better. Would love to hear your thoughts. :)

    Canon 30D, 600mm, f7.1, 1/1250, ISO800

    Crop works well Jay I love the water drops coming of the fish Might work on the eye and brighten a bit I like it a lot !!!!

    It's a good capture and this bird, although the same as your last post, seems considerably drier. A far as the crop goes, a little more room at the top would improve things. The only other nit is that the image seems somewhat soft.

    I like the action.....great to get one with a fish. The droplets of water add to the action. It does look a little soft to me. The white top of the bird seems is bright....not hot...but noticeably lacks detail. You might be able to clone a little of that detail into that area to make it less evident.

    You already got good advice. The pano crop works, I would probably give it a bit more space. The white part between head and wing looks a bit overexposed on my monitor.
