    I wish I had a tripod today to try and blend exposures with different focal points, not viable hand holding, so it's going to have to be like this. I didn't want to reduce my Aperture to keep a clean BG as much as possible.

    D300, 300/2.8 plus 1.7X
    f/5.6, 1/1250, ISO 400
    hand held

    Handheld? Looks pretty darn clean to me! Personally, I don't mind when the wings are a bit OOF when the body is that tack sharp. That BG totally rocks, too.

    .... its always a good thing to have a tripod Fabs :) Love the rich saturated body and feel !!!

    Fine composition. Nice BG. OOF wings are fine with me. I might tone down the brightness level in the body just a little bit.

    Lovely colours Fabs and I like the composition.
    I hope I don't hurt your feelings but none of it appears sharp to me.
