    Another of my images that I made yesterday of a local Peregrine Falcon. It has prey--a local pigeon!:)This is a high ISO image taken very much in the shadow of the cliffs before the sun got above them.
    1D MKIII 300/2.8 IS + 2X TC
    1/640s f/6.3 at 600.0mm iso1600

    I really like the head turn on this one. I would love to get this close much less have an image of one.

    Great shot! Yes - it's nice that the prey is there, but discreetly shielded behind the rock. Very Hitchcock. We have the feathers, we have the feet - we don't need to see any more to know what's going on. Very cool.

    Hi Bonnie,
    I like the angle of the rocks cutting through the image and the head turn of the falcon. I agree with Amy about the prey as well, subtle but no doubt about what has happened.
