I took my macro lens to a nearby lake today and ran up against a bazillion baby grasshoppers. This one looked great in his original green BG but I thought it softened him too much so I threw an antique color action on him and added a matching vignette around the edges. I think it toughened him right up!

Wow Jules, Yes he's tough! He looks like a bronze statue! It's like he's 3-D among the soft pastels of the background.

This is really cool! I love it!

A bronze statue, surrounded by Chinese bamboo. I must be thinking of the movie we just saw, The Mummy :)

Beautifully done, Jules, one of your best!

Very "Asian" Julie! All that it needs is a chop. I actually added mine to see what it would look like, but I won't post it due to the fact that it is my name in Chinese! But it sure looks good!!! Dan Brown

Sorry Julie. A chop is the "seal" or "stamp" commonly used on Asian art. It can be the artist's sig. or an inspirational verse, etc. I sometimes have used my "chop" on posts in the OOTB forum. I actually posted one this weekend in "Travel".
