Yesterday I was hiking in a valley in the Colorado Wilderness. The sun just wasn't coming over the mountains and I was itching to take a shot. I liked the reflection, but wasn't crazy about the grasses. Just cropped a little,warmed it a bit and dodged and burned a bit.
Very good idea, Joanna, we do that sometimes with bird's reflections in harsh light. I love the center part of the image, obviously the center of attention.

Very nice, Joanna! You might check your colors...it seems the grass is a bit on the blue side of green. Could be you have just a bit of a color cast. It's beautiful as is but it does look a little bit "off" where the grass meets the water because of that overly blue tint.
