When I saw these friendly beach squirrels I thought of Nonda and spent a little time trying to get something good for her. Hope you like it and thank you for looking, commenting and helping me learn.

I do like this, looks like you were in a burrow and he wanted to move in.

caught him peeking!!! nice job. think a horizontal might work a little better here. you could crop some of the bottom off since there's really nothing down there. the brightness of the rocks is a little distracting. you could tone those down too. love the pose you got. i think nonda will be proud!!!

I like it a lot Katie !!! Love squirrels !!!

The only distracting element is the dark rock in front This is a tough one to set since you need more dof but probably don't want to stop down more !!! What to do? Remember the hyper focal motif? Well here you can focus on a point half way up the nose to the eye. Will help both be in focus !!! Here the eye is slightly sharper than the nose and would be nice to have both the same !!!! Excellent image Katie I like it a lot !!!

Agree with Al on the front rock. You sure did a great job of getting good detail in the squirrel, though. Love the angle and the pose!!!
