Shot at a new feeder I set up in the woods off of a local hiking trail. I'm still working on improving my PS skills. With trannies it was WYSIWYG. However It is nice to have so much control over your images.PS is just such a steep learning curve.

I like this Chris. The nice soft colors are very attractive and I like the crook in the perch he choose to rest on. I think it is a bit soft in the head area (or maybe I am, don't know). I think maybe more room on top rather than bottom would be a better balance. Love the BG

Hi Chris There is something fishy on the left side of the bird?

I think point of focus is not right on the eye, look at the feet. The left is very sharp. Good pose and great bg Would frame the bird much lower leaving more room up top.

Nice BG, good perch and HA; does need a little sharpening. Those little birds are tough and you did well!

Nicely captured Chris, I would personally prefer a little more canvas above the bird as Carole suggested.

Hi Chris - Nice capture! don't see what Al is talking about on the left side, but agree that your image would look better with more room at the top. It's really been a pleasure to see all the Grosbeaks this year..

    Cheers,

    Bruce
