hi diane. awesome singing pose from your eastern meadowlark. one of my favorite birds!! the perch and bg are awesome and the exposure seems spot on!! the yellows need to be desaturated a bit and the eye seems empty. may try to put a catchlight in the eye. great looking bird!!!!

looking more at it, i might crop just a bit off the right and top. not much!!

    Hi Diane:

Great capture, Harold hit all the minor points, especially catch light to make it perfect. Well done, I like your photography. Best regards . . . Uncle Gus

Welcome Diana - harold has it covered :) Love the BG, Love the pose, Head angle is good.

Only issue is the eye - no detail there at all.

    :)

    Hi Diana

Fully agree with Harold The biggest change would be the eye !!! Can also add that you could tighten the crop a bit Excellent image !!!

Hi Diana, your little bird makes me want to sing, too. Great capture and I agree with the Al's suggestions for improvement.
