    Nice and sharp with good eye contact Paul! BG is quite nice. Light looks a little harsh, but you handled it well. I almost never use ISO 100 when photographing birds. I like as much shutter speed as possible. On the 40D, you can use ISO 400 with little to no noise. Thanks for posting!

    Really lovely color and detail Paul and the eye contact is good. The angle is slightly steep and wondered if it would have been possible to move back a bit. Excellent BG as well Very nice work Paul.

    I like the inquisitive pose and details. I would give it a bit more room bottom and right and fill flash would have helped in this light. I agree that ISO 200 and 400 would have been fine.
