    Hi Robert,

I hope you don't mind but I took your image and I did what I thought would work.

    What I did:

    Added canvas with Quick Mask
    Cropped horizontal
    Sharpening with Quick Mask.

    Hope you like it.

PS: Adding canvas could be better but you get the idea.

Maxis, I do like the rework. Since I did crop this slightly, I probably can go back and get some original canvas.

This is a beautiful image. A great pose and a BG that is incredible. Maxis did a nice job with the repost. You could also try a vertical crop that would probably work well. There was noise in the BG of the first post......was this perhaps underexposed or a large crop?

Thanks Lana. This is a small crop from the original. I think the background noise is due to the file compression. The original size image looks great with no noise. Also, the image was made with a Digital Rebel (6.2 mp) so it's not necessarily high resolution to begin with. I've since purchased a 40D, but I cannot seem to convince this Kestrel to pose for a new shot.

    Cheers,
    Robert
