    Great wing position, eye contact and BG. I would give it more room to fly into and wish for higher shutter speed for less wing blur. Thanks for sharing!

    Agree with Axel here. A little less wing blur and a bit more room would make for a stronger image. Thanks for posting!

    Nice capture of a bird in flight and background. I agree with Axel and Doug on the wing blur.

    Thanks everyone for your comments - much appreciated as ever. You have put me in a quandary (easily done :) ) I take the point about more space for it to fly into but imagined there would be comments for a slower shutter speed for a little more wing blur not less, thats why I find it so hard to critique my own images and why other peoples critique is so valuable :)

    Thanks again and although I have not been here very long I already think that this is the most honest and useful forum for critique that I have seen :cool:

    Hi Tell, A bit more wing blur might have been very nice, esp. if you were able to keep the eye sharp. Love the wing position. You might wish to eliminate the tiny stray white feather near the upper back.
