Question Help Using the ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter

    I rented a Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter and a 430EX Flash to
go with my 580EX flash for the week. Both flashes will be used off camera.

Uhhhh, how does it work? No instructions.

I can setup both flashes as slaves (Channel 1) and get those to fire
    with the transmitter.

But if I setup my 580ex as a Master and leave the 430ex with the same
    setting, the 580ex won't fire.

How do I setup my 580ex to fire via the transmitter, which will fire my 430ex?

Or do I just leave both as slaves?

    Thanks
    Doug

The st-e2 is the master, therefore both flashes should be set as slaves.
