    Default Gray Tree Frog

Canon 1DsMII, Ef180mm f/3.5L macro, ISO 100, 1/250, f/22, Canon twin head macro flash. This one is a top seller for me, and was taken as a simple experimental creation! I just walked outside and saw the frog on a palm tree, set up quickly, and captured a top selling image. Go figure :D

That is really cool. I like the positioning of the frog and the texture of the palm tree. Great catch.

Nice looking specimen and love the dreamy eye ;)

The tree makes a very good set-up for him.

Great capture! Is that also called a pinewood tree frog? I can see why this is one of your best sellers.

    Thanks everyone,

As a bit of Photographic humor, this image also qualifies as my most "bizarre" sale too! One of the more famous tattoo parlors licensed it in response to a customer request. Seems she wanted this fellow tattood on a private part! Hmmmm.....I wonder if they included my copyright info?:eek:

It is now a template available in their shop!

Great image! The head turn on this guy really gives it personality. It is actually a Cuban tree frog. They are an exotic to Florida and could actually eat the grey and other tree frogs. It can be set apart by the warty skin (not smooth), large to disks and huge mouth.

    Thanks for the ID!

True, they live 10 years, eat everything and are the largest TF found in NA! They are wiping out the native frogs. This is the most common color, they also can change to green and just plain brown instead of the motled brown.....

Thanks for the correction on the ID! I do appreciate that.

One other thing I forgot to mention was that this was an all manual exposure, and was captured in the middle of the night.

Hey Bob, great image. The image as alot of depth to it, like its 3-D. The frogs color really pops against the gray bark. Perfect crop.
