This seductive beauty goes by the name of Aphrodite. In her previous life, Aphrodite was the Greek Goddess of passion and love and Pandora's twin sister. Like her sister; Aphrodite seduced her pretenders with her sweet intoxicating nectar of passion. Aphrodite was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D macro lens with a 36mm extension tube.
Image solution: focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / metering mode - combination of in camera matrix metering and hand held spot meter for even light distribution / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / 1/60sec. - f/3.2 / lighting solution - used two speedlights on manual mode, powered down to 1/4 lumin burst; with attached defusers and yellow gelitan filters. A soft box was angled at 180 degrees with an additional 36" defuser panel in front. / exposure comp @ +1.7EV / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform - tripod assist / cable trigger release /

Gus, my friend, this is a luminous, sensual creation. You are the proof that there is no limit to the imagination.
Regards,
Nicki
PS It reminds me of an essay I wrote at school about the inner life of a bee...
No really, beautiful image.
The sharpness and exposure are top shelf. But the selective use of DOF puts this over the top.
I like the composition as presented, you may want to look at placing the water drop more to the left of the frame next time.
Less negative space left, more beautiful texture to the right.
Wonderfully seen and executed.
