    Hi John! Love the tree trunk and the deep green BG. It's a challenge photographing woodpeckers at 1/25. Their heads seem like they're always moving. I think that's the issue with this photo. You've got a little motion blur. Also, some of the whites seem hot on my monitor. Thanks for posting!

    Hi John,

    You have got a wonderful subject in good pose with complementing background. But it appears soft on my monitor. Some of the whites appears over exposed. But I like that glitter in the eye.

    Lovely composition and great pose. I do agree with the above comments about the whites being a tad hot. Many thanls for sharing John.
