    I watched this Grey Heron fishing and made this funny image of the bird mirrored just in the moment when he splashed into the water.

    I like the mirrored water and bird. Hipe it makes you smile :-))

    Hi Rosl,

    The pattern in the water through out the image, the round splash and the reflection makes it for me. The soft lighting has helped here. Though it looks simple, a nice creative image. Love the perspective you have shown here. And good to see the ICC profile tagged here.

    Rosl I really like the overall idea of the image. I might have been tempted to crop this somewhat on all 4 sides to make the bird, its reflection, the splash and all those beautiful water drops much easier to see at a higher size.

    Even with a crop you would still keep some of the ripple pattern as well.

    I like the idea and would crop a bit tighter. A lower angle would have been good, too. Thanks for sharing!

    Wow, what a timing. Lovely details of the heron & the splash makes the image for me.
