    I visited our West Coast area and had a chance to photograph some Cape Gannets at a small harbor town called Lambertsbay.

    Camera 1D M3
    Lens 600 f4 IS with 1.4TC
    ISO 800
    Tv 1/2500
    Av f6.3
    Evaluative metering against misty sky.

    Hi Geurt I like the gray bg and wing position Light is from the right/back making the close wing dark I think you could have compensated 2/3 or so and still kept the captured mood !!! Love those birds they sure are elegant !!!!

    I agree about the +EC and would also like to see a bit more of head turn. Thanks for posting!
