    Actually it is a way the bears mark territory but they sure seem to enjoy it. Photographed this bear during my spring Yellowstone IPT.

    Canon 1d2, EF600mmF4IS, ISO 250, 1/250 @ F4, -2/3 comp in eval.

    Awesome pose and composition. A very nice bear shot. Could be slightly over-sharpened.

    That is possible. Converted this while using my old dark soft monitor sure glad its gone.:)

    Great detail and the depth of vision puts one in the Bears enviorment. It's almost like some Bears know more about posing than others!! You found a real showman...I like it very much.

    Great behavioural image here Robert. I like how the bear's position allows you to make a full portrait frame. It almost makes me want to scratch myself. ;)

    Beautiful shot! He really seems to be enjoying it. Great colors and detail in the bear.
