    Your burrowing owl flight shots are outstanding. The detail on the wingspread is excellent....and those talons certainly keep my eyes occupied.

    Sheesh! I've never even seen one fly let alone one this good on the ground. Superb image Jim, you nailed it. The background really adds to the image here as well!

    Killer (old school for really good) image.
    The details in the wing, the wing position and the intense look make this image a winner.
    If I had to nit, I would prefer the head to be turned more towards you. But I don't have to nit.
