This very litlle bird isn't easy to take a picture from. I guess that sometimes you need a little luck: cool:

    Hi Alexander,

What a lovely looking bird. You did well with the exposure and details, However I find the cropping too tight!

    Hi Alexander,

Wow, the bird screams off the screen--so sharp and gorgeous. Perfect head and body angle, great light, incredible detail in the feathers on the back. I do not even hate the big white oof branch. It would be a lot of work to get rid of it (if that fits with your personal ethics.) Final comment: eye candy!

    Later and love, artie

ps; I am fine with the crop and subject size: < 75% of the frame is always fine with me.

This is a really terrific image of a very difficult subject. You did well to nail this firecrest and you've done a good job. Lovely detail.

I agree that this image has wonderful detail! The exposure is also wonderful but it needs to be in my gallery... great shot!

You definitely had lady luck with you when you took this photograph !

As they flutter around so fast from branch to branch it's so difficult to get one still for a second, but you managed an absolutely excellent image which shows amazing detail on the tiny fella, I am so jealous as I have tried so hard to get one as good as this

    Great work :)

    Jacqui
