    Hi to all,

I just recently bought a flash and went out the other day to play around with it and came away with this shot. Hope you like it.

Excellent details and composition. It may need a bit of CW rotation.

    Looking forward to more.

Hi, I think this is technically very good, you have done a very good job with the blacks :) my personal preference for ducks and swans is for them to be doing something rather than just 'floating by'.

Nice light, details and head angle. I agree on CW rotation and maybe a bit more room. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all your kind comments and tips on improvement.

I would also like nice action shots that are not to boring, but I've only been shoot for under a year now so you can say I'm new to photography. My main focus is to get the technical side to photography spot on. For example, my exposures, composition, post processing and just really Knowing my equipment real well, so when the opportunity comes along I"m prepared to nail the shot. I don't post my pictures here for show I post them so you all can criticise them.

I thank you all again for viewing my images and sharing your opinion on improvements and look forward to learning from your no-ledge.

    Cheers

Good shot - very sharp and excellent detail in that black plumage.
