    Default Wind in the Willows

Hi, this is 'Ratty' from the book 'Wind In The Willows' which I am sure many read as a child. It is the UK most endangered mammal and although loss of habitat is one reason for this the other reason is because of the introduction (deliberate and accidental) of Mink from which the Water Vole has no defence :(

    Canon 40 D, 500 + x1.4, 1/60, f5.6, iso 640, very low light and I think I overdid the fill in flash a little :)

I deliberately made the reflection half the shot as I like it that way but would be interested if anyone has any other thoughts.

A really nice shot!! The reflection and composition look good to me. I don't mind the "flashed" look, either. The picture does look a bit blue. That's an easy fix, though. Well done!!

    Happy shooting and God bless,
    Paul

Very nice and I'm sure not easy finding one in the open !!! Even with the nice reflection a tight image without it looks really good !!!!! Might like it even better !!!
