    Nice image. I like the shadow captured in the image. The drops of water adds to the image. I would have loved some more sharpness. I think a higher ISO would have been useful.

    I like the image. I agree the shadow capture is a plus. There are a few spots on the beach that need some clone brush help(white object below bird, far left). The wing blur is OK, except at 1/1000sec I would suspect this was a DOF effect. The uneven beach/ water interface, though blurred, somehow doesn't seem right. Good job. regards~Bill

    Wonderful action and superb eye contact. The shell is a real bonus too as is the dripping waterdroplets. I agree with the above comments. Many thanks for sharing.

    Good shot, Doug - agree with above but I would be tempted to crop some off the top and possibly a little off the right too

    Nice action and pleasing image. I think I would level the beach behind and remove the drops of water on the far left edge.
