    Default Peregrine Falcon

I am posting this image I made yesterday, not because it is the best technically--but just because it was so amazing to be able to photograph a wild falcon at about 25 feet or so. The lighting was the worst. I have done what I could do to bring out any of the image--including adding a bit of sky--
I will go back on a better day. Amazing creature--and toally unafraid.

    Hi Bonnie,
Tough light but when you get these opportunities you gotta take 'em. That's a nice pose and a handsome looking bird. I'd be tempted to crop out a bit more of the perch.

Nice pose and sharpness Bonnie. Light conditions were rough. But knowing where to find the falcon will give you the opportunity to post some really excellent stuff here in the coming weeks.

Geez. You did a great job for your lighting conditions. I like the composition and you did really well with the bird's focus. Beautiful bird. Must have been very exciting to get that close to it.
