    The Little Grebe is secretive but at last patience paid off. ;)
    Canon 20D Canon 500mm f4L IS Mongoose 3.5 Gitzo 3530 - the Mongoose is a dream to use - I could not recommend it more highly.:)

    Nice pose and sharp, but the oof algae in the foreground is an image killer... Good EXP and like the raised foot. Glad that you like your Mongoose. I really love the lighter weight and so does my shoulder...

    I really like the pose but I would prefer a bit crop at the bottom!

    I really like this Michael - the pose and sharpness are great but the OOF foreground and background are really distracting because they are pale and drag the eye away. You could try burning a vignette but I would probably crop and patch a bit like this;
