Hi all, It's been a while since I posted any birds...got out today late morning, but on a white sky day, and found a large number of juvenile Mountain Bluebirds around the Castlegar airport, where there has been a nest box program for many years...by the numbers of young I saw, it looks like it was a good year for bluebirds.

Any comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.
Wow on this view, I see my two favorite bird species...Hummers and Bluebirds! Being from the South East of the US, I only see Eastern Bluebirds, and have had the same nesting pair in my yard for several years, producing many offspring which I love to photograph (posted a pic a couple of days ago of the male) This is a beautiful image of this juvenile female. You caught a nice head angle, it is sharply focused and has a pleasing background. She certainly brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing.
Nice eye contact Bruce! I like the hint of brilliant blue. The head could stand some additional sharpening IMO. Also there's a thin white line running parallel to the right tail feathers (cloning artifact?). Thanks for posting!
Thank-you everyone. Doug, I think that the white line is actually a small spider web that I missed when cloning out a couple of distracting short branches.
