    Not as colorful as his counterparts in USA but this day the light gave him/her a silvery appearance
    you are all sick of the vultures so I will try this blast from the past

    It appears as if you have painted it with silver paint. Certainly interesting as the spoonbills in India have a dull colour. I would have tried a bit higher contrast. I like the placement of the spoonbill in this image. The full reflection would have been nice.

    Oh it's Beautiful! I don't know about higher contrast - couldn't that have blown out the details in the body? As it is the detail there is very nice. It looks like a creamy porcelain, and the bill looks like it was detailed in a body shop.

    Considering that you didn't get the whole body in the reflection anyway, I think I'd like to see the foreground cropped in a little more so that I can see him closer.... I'd be interested to see what others think about cropping in....

    Lovely image Loukie - light and texture great. I am seeing nothing sharp in the image apart from the bird and a small part of water just in front and behind the legs - tip of beak and tip of tail look soft - have you blurred the surrounds in post?
