    Nice angle. I wish the tree were not running through the elephant and he is a bit centered for me. I might try a tighter crop.

    Lovely details of the elephant. I feel a horizontal crop + off-centering the elephant might help too (a personal taste).
    Second Carole on the tree trunk in BG.

    Trees are the main distraction Ken but sure like the looks of the baby. Not sure how much of a crop but maybe a horizontal with a little more room on the right side !!!

    Hi Ken,
    I really like the determined struggling look of the calf. I agree with others on removal of the tree trunk and also with Alfred on a horizontal crop (if possible) since he's sort of leaning/angled that way. Nice detail.

    I looked at the original, and unbelievably it is portrait, I have no plausible excuses!

    I'll try removing the fallen tree. Thanks for the comments.

    A tighter crop would eliminate most diistractions or at least mimimize their visual impact... Love the elephant....
