This is Sammy; Sammy comes to visit from time to time, when I leave fresh sliced bananas near the bird feeders by the old palm stump for the butterflies to feed. Sammy was painted wit a Nikon D70s, using a Nikkor 200mm f/4D macro lens with a 12mm extension tube.

Really like Sammy coming down the soft leaf curve!!! Almost a two tone image except for the orange eye, NICE!!!!

Can't make up my mind on the darker streak running from the bug to the corner???

I like that Sammy looks a little unsure about what is around the corner - who can blame him - it might be a hungry bird...:eek:
