    Hi All,
This is another view of the rescued tawny owl that I posted a few weeks ago.
    400D 100-400 @ 400mm
    ISO 200
    AV F5 1/125 sec
    Exp comp -1.3
Desaturated in PS elements and a sepia tone added, levels, croppped sharpening and burned BG to make darker.
    Look forward to your comments!
    Best regards to all,
    Nicki

Like the texture and sharpness here. Also the B&W treatment. Some of the whites look a little hot, and I'd like to see some extra room up top and on the left. I really like this one Nicki!

    Hi guys,
Thanks so much for your kind words.
Regarding the whites; I often find that my images look darker after posting than when I have processed them, so I brightened the picture at the last moment....I probably deserve 20 lashes for this...:D
    Regards to all,
    Nicki

I like this a lot, also, Nicki. It is another very artistic rendering. Are you by any chance an artist as well as a photographer?

Very intriguing as a sepia image. I looked at for a long time, seeing what was there.
    Well done
