I have an almost full 4 gig cf card that has a couple of files that look fine when viewed in the camera or breezebrowser but when opened they have a big red square on them. Has anyone experienced this? Can the files be saved? Is it a problem with the cf card? I have been using 2 gig cf cards for some time and never had this happen.
I appreciate any insight anyone can offer as I would really like to save one of these files.
Do nothing with the card--copy the card to your hard drive. If you are on a pc you need to download a program called photorescue. In my experience it is way better than anything else out there.
