    Congratulations Mike Lentz!
    Sunrise at Split Rock Lighthouse

This is what I mustered up after the golden morning colors had disappeared. I just positioned myself to where the sun would peak out from behind the cliff wall.Nikon D200 ~ Nikkor 18-70mm F3.5-4.5

Really pretty, Mike! I can never resist a sunset/sunrise/sihouette image! So did you add the golden tones in post-processing? (Wasn't sure what you meant by mustering up after the golden morning tones had disappeared.) Either way, congratulations!

Thanks. I just meant the sky was purple, orange and blue and more beautiful earlier in the AM. Not much PP on this one.
