    Flock of red-billed quelea (Quelea quelea) flying up from a waterhole.
    Watching a big flock of these small birds is impressive and I am kind of fascinated by it. They seem to move like one huge noisy organism.

    I am not a great fan of this type of shot normally, but this is great. To be quite honest it is about the only way you can get pictures of these they rarely stand still.

    Besides the fact that the lower left corner is a bit too empty compared to the rest of the photograph I just love this! Good thinking and execution!

    What makes this one for me are the red bills showing here and there. Very cool!

    You've caught this well Vincent. Nice light too. They are fascinating to watch as they seem to just continually move with some falling and some rising in constant rolling motion

    this is awesome Vincent......it is almost mesmerizing to look at at let the eye roam.

    Can you put a larger on your website/gallery, would love to view a larger version?

    This is so different and that's why it's so good. Good movement, exposure and colours. Huge impact. No nits. Simply superb.

    Thanks all for the comments. Dave, I think the service I use for my website (clikpic) does not allow larger res. images, but I will give it a try later this week.
