    The Antelope in Custer State Park, SD are about as calm as any I've seen. This handsome young male was relaxed enough to stand on one side of the road while I shot from the other.

    Canon 1D Mark III, Canon 500 f/4, resting on car windowsill.

    I really like the headturn in this Fred.....and while the light was a little harsh you handled your exposure really well. The harsh light however caused the white belly to be very dominant and it takes away my attention from the head. A slightly lower angle would have helped to improve this, but since you're photographing from a car I don't think this would have been an option.

    Nice comp, a pity about the hasrh light. Maybe a bit more selective sharpening around the eye will improve this presentation.

    Yes, a pity.

    A bit of vignetting to subdue the belly hair dominance and a hint of mascara on the eye applied in this version.
