Nice pose, perch and light. I would give it a bit more room at the left and sharpen the bird more.

    Hi Rick,

Very nice pose and habitat. I would remove the noise in the BG and push the colors a little more. Sharpen mentioned.

    Keep them coming!

Looks a little flat on my monitor. I would bump the saturation a bit, as Maxis suggested. Sharpening and NR would also help here. The bird is relatively centered in the frame; I too would give it more room on the left. Thanks for posting!

Hi Rick, you have a beautiful setting here. I have not seen too many egret images perched like this. The details and the exposure looks great. I do see some noise in the background. A bit of saturation and sharpness would have been good.

Lovely setting and colourscheme.....while the exposure seems good you might want to play around in curves a bit to make it stand out more. Composition suggestions were already made and I fully agree with them.

I do not mind the composition at all, in fact, I rather like that you have included the frond on our right. A small curves adjustment would help as Jasper suggested. My wish is that the whitish vertical blob in the BKGR to our left of the bird were not there.
