Reddish egrets during the courting phase. This was taken at Fort desoto about two months ago and they were certainly serious about their courting. Such great fun to watch this wonderful behavior.

Great interaction, light and poses. Maybe a bit CW rotation.

I hope you had a good time up north.

This is beautiful and fun at the same time. The bird on the left makes me think of a cartoon character running away from its pursuer. I agree with Axel's comments

    Hello Judy!
To me everything is almost perfect, but I believe that a bit more of room on the left would be good IMO.
    Very interesting behavior.

Wonderful interaction but both heads are turned slightly away and both look as if they could use a bit more sharpening.

Nice timing and great action captured here. Agree with more sharpening.

Too cool, Judy--I love the story being told here. Excellent in all respects.
I might like to see the bg behind the birds head darkened just a bit.

I like the image a lot. I thought that rotating the image a bit clockwise and removing un-necessary space at the top would help focus on the action, and make it appear there was more space in front of the birds. I hope you don't mind that I did these in this repost. Do you think it helped? ~regards Bill
