This tiger was sleeping near a water hole. I was on an elephant. I tried to take pictures from all the sides without disturbing it. I was wondering what to do with a sleeping tiger. Took this shot. This was in 2006. I found it while browsing my old files.

    Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 300mm F4 L IS USM, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/125 sec. Full frame.

Sabyasachi, if you had really focused in on the pattern of the tiger stripes I think it would have made for one really interesting abstract. As it is, I'm just left with my eye wandering around, trying to find a place for my eye to rest. I applaud your fearlessness for getting this close to a tiger...elephant or not!

I'm with Julie on this one. Nothing to grab your eye. As presented, it could use a contrast and a SAT boost.
