Looks very good to me, Nonda ! I've been trying to get something like this but just didn't have the opportunity to run into a scene like this. If it wasn't because of wrong angle, it was because the birds were too far away for my lens. Anyhow, I personally don't think head angle should be an big issue here given that you have three heads to deal with. You can only take what's there, I suppose. Just IMO.

BTW, which swallow you set the focus on? Big crop/small crop ?

This is a pretty good crop probably about 50%. What you can't see is on the left is a nest box, there are quite a few next boxes and tons of swallows. Many times they fly in too close! If someone know what they were doing it would be a pretty target rich place, I'm fumbling and get lucky at times. I do keep focus on the are by a next box since they slow down a bit when they come in.

I try and focus on one bird but get two or more in the frame at times, often not knowing someone else is in till I get home:o

I love the middle bird and the overall feel of this one, the decending diagonal is nice. It is too bad the adult isn't looking up.

Thanks..Yes the parent looking up would have been super nice and you can't really see the moth in the mouth either. Oh well more practice soon I hope!

Very nice. I've spent a fair amount of time trying to get flight shots of swallows and so far the score is Swallows - 100's, Dave zero. Way to go.

I like this very much, Nonda. My one wish is that the bird on the right were as in focus as the other two. It's a great try, though, and I love the interaction of the birds!
