Great moment captured. I like the angle, wing position and eye contact. I would tone down the whites on the far wing and crop a bit off the top. The whites on the head look a bit grayish, too much highlight recovery? Thanks for sharing!

I love the action! One can also see the big fish in his talons underneath. The wing position is very nice and the splash gives this a dramatic mood. Great stuff! The whites look a bit hot on my monitor though.

This is an outstanding image. I like the wing position and the eye contact which creates an intent look. The back of the neck and top of head whites do look a bit grey. The whites on the far wing look hot.

A great behavioral shot...You can almost detect a smug, but proud look in the Osprey's eye.

I think sacrificing the head/wing whites to go hot to grab detail underneath (as much as you could) along with detail in the birds feather is just as well consideirng the rest of the display here is so superb that the whites for me are a minor nit.

Sharp and wonderful wing position. With all that dark in the middle I would have gone -.7 or even -1 with Nikon if it were sunny bright; are the whites OK in the TIFF? Do you have one with the wings swept back showing the whole fish???
