    This was a fly by from this AM at Nickerson. The osprey seem to have done well here this summer as all the nests I have seen looked as if they had chicks that survived. I guess they will be heading south soon.

    Great light and wing position. I might put the bird a bit higher in the frame and wish for more eye contact. Thanks for sharing!

    Nice underwing detail Joe! I'd like to see more eye contact in this image, and might apply a little NR to the BG. Thanks for posting!

    Nice wing position, nice light on that wing, and I am not worried about the eye contact because the behavior shows that it would not really be looking that direction but more down to fish...
