I like the pose of the bird. I don't mind too much the leaves either. Hey, it's where the birds are ;)

If this were my photo, I would do a few things: reduce the noise, sharpen the bird, and crop. Have you considered a vertical format? A vertical format that focus more on the bird will reduce the size of the background and so you have smaller of it to deal with :D After that, you could choose to blur those farther away leaves. My 2 cents.

Looking better Mike !!! Makes a difference getting close !!! Got one framing suggestion Would move the bird to one of the corners, probably UL Don't like seeing small birds centered, small birds in frame always look better in corners. I'm sure there are some exceptions but haven't seen many !!!!

Hi Mike the crop looks good but its going back to the large crop problem Here is an alternative for small birds in frame so they can look good. Just cropped to place on the corner and smoothed out the bg btw when making the image you can place the little guy there to start !!!

Hi Mike! I like the steady improvement in your image quality. I think you'll be much happier if you find yourself a little sunshine and take some pictures with good light. A titmouse at 1/40, f/5, and ISO 800 is tough for even the best bird photographers. Keep up the good work!
