Taken at Nickerson Beach last week. On Sunday I got to meet Axel for the first time and Beth Goffe was there also. I'm sure we will go out many more times as Axel is now just over the border in Pensy! I was concentrating on the skimmers this week........but I really liked the crab pose in this one from last week. Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 731mm and f 6.3 for 1/2500 sec and ISO 800.
Again I invite everyone to come comment and post in the Landscape forums.......and others ........even if you don't do that type of photography......it's still fun to check out!

Great light, details, walking pose and the catch adds to it. I might give it a bit more room top and right.

Just a bit more room would help, and maybe (if it is ok with you) I would bring up the eye a bit, other than that, just excellent shot! Congratulations!

Great timing and pose, and an interesting item in the bill too. Agree with previous comments on crop and eye. Well done!

Love the crab and the walking pose and you got him in good light. I agree with Ramon's suggestion to lighten the eye. I'm envious you're heading back out there - again! Won't be able to make it until maybe Friday afternoon or Saturday AM.

Ah, a lady or calico crab. Well done with everything nice and square to the back of the camera. Guess that you are not totally cured as this is a bit too tight. The wave line merged with the head is slightly distracting. Sharpness and EXP perfect.
