:)I like it very much Oscar, like the eye contact, the composition centered but for this image is OK with me, lets wait for the HAP!:):):)

PS. As Lance I also love the HAP:D:D:D

This is a terrific image! You might want to get rid of the oof yellow stuff in the water in the upper half of the image. Otherwise I think it is great.
    Congrats

Hi Oscar - nice bird , exposure looks good, good eye contact, looks sharp. Centred is OK for me.

As for the HAP - I am guessing you might get - a little more turn would be nice.

I too also wondered what it woul be like without the yellow stuff in the water - quickly got tid of it (quickly - not perfectly)

    :)

One funky looking pelican Oscar !!! Love the way he looks but don't recall seeing one so yellow ..... maybe he has some serious liver issues !!!!!

HAP will let this go since you came up such a good looking bird and the angle is so close Do like the pose and brilliant eye !!! This was probably taken at bay side? Not sure what is in the water, couldn't be seaweed?

Good morning Senor Oscar and Mr Pelican!
I love this image - absolutely no nits from me although I think I might possibly prefer the original. It looks as if he is recovering nicely at the sanctuary. Glad you didn't get arrested - fear not, I was standing by with that bail money!!
    Regards,
    Nicki

Nice photo. Head angle (and all of it) looks great to me.

Cool bird, Oscar! I like Lance's repost because it gave the bird's breast a little more detail. Your original composition is very nice and I love the twisted neck/head angle! It really shows off that beautiful eye!!!
